Great Yarmouth Borough Council is hosting a free, drop-in Business Advice Surgery at Unit 3 Malory Road, Beacon Park on Tuesday 19th September which is open to all businesses in the area.

Come along from 11:00-14:00 to visit the Department of International Trade’s impressive Export Hub. Alongside this, the New Anglia Growth Hub’s advisors will be on hand to provide details of grants of up to £500,000 available as well as grants for energy efficiency from BEE.

Meet Thriving Workplaces who offer free support for employee health and wellbeing and a new project supporting Business Resilience (BERT). Business Resilience planning can seem time-consuming and daunting, but BERT can help you overcome these barriers and has a particular focus on flooding.

You can find out more about the proposed Third River Crossing in Great Yarmouth and have your say in their new public consultation.

EEEGR, Norfolk Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Small Businesses will also be on hand to offer advice and promote local business networking events.

We will be showcasing available industrial units on Beacon Park offering business rate relief for five years for companies moving in before 31 March 2018.

And finally, support will be on hand to write applications for this year’s Spirit of Enterprise Awards. The tenth anniversary awards will be held on 17th November in the Town Hall and a perfect opportunity to promote your business.
