Meet the BEE Team - Aimee Clark
Date:
This month we meet one of our senior advisors, Aimee Clark. Aimee covers the Mid Suffolk and Babergh areas.
What’s your favourite thing about BEE Anglia?
Having worked on previous business support projects with Groundwork, I love that BEE Anglia brings together all of the successful elements of these into one project. It’s particularly valuable to be able to offer ongoing support to businesses that want to implement changes and gain recognition for their efforts.
What did you do before working at BEE Anglia?
Before we started delivering the programme, I was working on its development. This included the development of tools, resources, templates and other paperwork to ensure the efficient delivery of the programme. I also worked (and continue to do so) on other business support projects including the management of the Carbon Charter network and other small business projects.
What would you be doing if you weren’t at BEE Anglia?
As much as I love my job, I secretly don’t want to work! I would be quite happy volunteering as when I feel like it, baking, looking after dogs and keeping a happy home! If anyone wants to make any donations to this worthy cause, please contact me!
What’s your favourite place in the world?
Home. I love my little house! If I had travelled to any of the places on my bucket list I might have a different answer!
What’s your guilty pleasure?
I have many, I wouldn’t describe myself as cool. My closet is wide open when it comes to my terrible taste in music – I still believe that I should have been a Spice Girl and I LOVE boybands, especially Westlife. I feel sorry for people that might be able to hear me singing along to Whitney in my car…in my head I sound incredible.
If you could have any superpower, what would you choose?
If Disney taught me anything it is that magic always comes with a price so I’d rather not have one.
Tell us something about you that we couldn’t guess.
This won’t be a surprise to anyone that knows me but I have a full Disney Classics DVD collection. I tell myself I was collecting them for my nephews and for any children I might have one day but they’re really for me!
Thanks Aimee. Head back next month to find out all all about our Marketing Officer (that's me!), Caroline Gould.
